대전.
넥센의 아리랑 유니폼을 맞춰서 처음으로 입어본 날은 대전경기 였다. 그때는 처음으로 대전도가고 그 경기를 이기고 집에 갔는데 그 유니폼의 첫 승리가 되었다. 그후엔 일년 넘게, 유니폼을 입으면 경기를 다 이겨갔었다. 넥센의 승리유니폼이라고 부를까.
올해 5월달은 넥센에 최악의 경기기럭이였는데 5월말에 날씨가 좋아 올해 처음으로 유니폼 꺼냈다. 경기를 이겼고 ;)
뻔뻔하게 선수들이 잘해서 이기는거 아니고 내 유니폼 덕분에 이겼다고 그런 생각은 안해. 그런데 난 우연을 믿는 사람이다 (그래서 나쁜 남자 만나고 맷날 소간건가?).
어쨌든 나 대전이 좋다.
올해 내가 본 경기는 졌지만... 이번엔 테드선배의 아버님이랑 남동생이랑 같이 셩기 봤으니까, 원래 넥센 사람 많이 안계신 경기에 외국인 200% 많아지니 이상 했었다.
Daejeon.
The very first time I wore my fitted Nexen Arirang uniform was at Daejeon, last summer.
Anyways. Last time I went to Daejeon we won. It was a Sunday and I had gone only to one of the two games. This year I also went to only one game, the Friday game, before heading back to Seoul, then down to Gwangju. We lost the game, but it was fun to revisit Daejeon stadium. Ted's father and brother were in Korea at that time, so the number of foreigner on Nexen's chairs were 200% more - eh eh ...
Gwangju.
올해는 광주에서 보게될 첫 경기 였다. 그래서 유니폼 장 챙기고 갔다. 작년은 우천최소 되서 꽨히 갔다 다시
월요일날에 일해서 일욜경기가 늦게 끝날까봐 걱정 했는데 토요일날도 일요일도 일찍 끝나고 시원한 경기를 보게 되었다.
I had gone to Gwangju last year, but hadn't been able to see a game because of rainouts. This time I went once more with people from the HISAYONG, with which I cheer for Nexen since the very beginning, and planned on staying with them at their "pension" thingy.
Last year when I had gone with them to Gwanju for games we ended up not watching anything because of heavy rain and just chilled at the pool place by the hotel they had made reservations at. It was pretty far from the stadium too so I hadn't even seen Gwangju's field. Oh well.
What I didn't really like last year was the accommodations, more than the fact that the game was cancelled. I didn't like the fact that the bathroom was old and gross with no towels and the apartment was humid and smelled weird.
So I was slightly worried.
Even more so when I heard that the place we were to stay at was in a Love Hotel.
Who wouldn't?
But they said the place was surprising, nice and very big. I felt like I could trust them. After all, when we went to Gwangju last year, they never said it was a nice place.
I was happy I trusted them. Here's what it looked like:
하시영팬들이랑 숙소에서 자게되었는데 처음에 숙소가 럽호텔안에 있다고 들어보니 걱정했는데 생각 보다 꽤 괜찮은 곳이였다. 넓고 깨끗하고 다 있는 숙소이였다. 거기서 자기만 하고 파티도 안 하는게 아까운 그런 곳기였다.
In the end it was a cool place that makes you feel sorry you are not staying longer. Nice and clean with lots of space for a cool party.
So apparently the place was supposed to have been the apartment of the owner of the hotel, who had renovated to be his own apartment for him and his family. In the end they ended up, for some unknown reason, using it as a sort of VIP room in the hotel, that could be rented to bigger groups. It had nice new clean toilets, a nicely functioning AC system, two big bedrooms with doors, one of which had a door to a simili-balcony with people can smoke, a big TV, Internet and wifi.
그곳이 원래 오너께서 쓰시게될 아파트공간이였더니 결국은 비아이피로 쓰게된 방이됐다. 원래 사람이 사는곳으로 만들었던 곳이였기 때문에 깨끗하고 티비까지 다 있었던거예요.
그리고 이번에는 여자는 나뿐이라 나만 쓰는 방도 있었다. ㅎㅎㅎ
And I was the only girl so I had my own room.
We got there a bit early so we rested a bit at the Hotel, that was very close to the stadium, and we just headed out a bit before the game, with refreshments in the car, our own section of the stadium reserved and fun in perspective.
There was a smal small tiny Nexen spot in Gwangju, surrounded by cheering people for the home team. It was a great game and we won ku ku ku. It did feel overwhelming though, to be in the heat of the cheering and on the wrong side of the stadium. I felt like if they had wanted, the fans of the opposite team could have swallowed us whole.
So I smiled.
And breathed.
Better take it on you when you are outnumbered 1 to 1000....
놀라게 기야구장은 매진 같았는데, 양쪽 다 기야팬. 넥센펜들은 해양에 있는 작은 배 처럼같이 느꼈다. 어느 정도로 무섭기도 했다. 배를 운전 제대로 못하면 기야해가 우리를 잡아먹을거란것 처럼.
그래서 웃었다.
숨 쉬었다.
웅원했다.
...그리고 주병 눈치 보면서넥센의 승리를 봤다.
Next day, rainout. So yah, nothing much. We got to go back home early, which it kinda cool taken that I was working the next day.
