End of Spring Acquisitions...

So I fell in love again.

For what is love, if not a amazing-looking good quality clutch and wallet?

I like to buy stuff made in Korea because it's generally cheaper, and while a lot of stuff is cheap and breaks easily, I find that Korean stuff is generally well-made. The two-tone blue clutch is the size of a 13 inch laptop (sadly a little too tight for my laptop to fit into, but that was not the purpose I bought that clutch for so it's all good) and has got good quality zippers and well spaced compartments inside, as well as a 3 card holder at the front under the flip. It closes with two quite strong magnets at the front (another reason I'm not using this near a computer...) that makes it super practical to flip open and close when looking for stuff as you are walking. There are no external pockets for say a phone, but it wouldn't have looked as neat if it had. However, inside the clutch, there are the usual two small-sized pockets, one for random stuff we regularly use, and the other for a phone.
Now I like that it's a Korean brand because it also was assumed that people might have a Galaxy-note, which are bigger and usually don't fit in any of the standard pockets. So my phone fits perfectly in it. This is really blissful. Yes, I get excited easily.

MCM is a pretty common Korean brand. While being pricey (a bit more pricey than GUESS stuff, if you want an idea, but the quality of the material and the space is much more well-thought than GUESS as well) it's super balanced. I don't like the classic MCM monogram pattern of the bags everyone carries around, so I usually don't look much into that brand, but this collection caught my eye because it's not blatantly yelling I AM A BAG FROM XXX BRAND, BUY ONE AND LOOK COOL LIKE ME! I like the subtle brand tag and the refreshing look.

The two shades of blue also make it much more pretty. Depending on the light, one might not even realize it's two-tones as the top part usually appears lighter in general on those types of clutches.

I also bought a long slim wallet from COURONNE, another brand I am taking a liking to (the computer bag I have bought from them I LOVE. They have neat simplistic designs and the quality of their leather is really good. I chose the hot pink. Because eh, that's just as flashy as I love those things to be.

Funny how I used to like baby shades so much (I still do, mind you) but since I notice

d that hot colors look much nicer on me I just LOVE those shades that I used to dislike so dearly.

Let's finish with me new pair of sandals. I was looking for a pair of shoes I could wear to go out that I would be able to wear when I have my bandage on on my ankle. I did have one pair of flops til last fall
but now all the shoes I owned were running shoes and heels so nothing I could actually wear out apart from the huge ugly adidas flops I wear when I have to go out to throw trash out and the like...

So I joined the necessity to pleasure by buying a pair I really liked in a store near my school: NAMU. Everything they have there is just simply beautiful.

Montreal for a week

Packing for a week in Montreal can suck.... but I just don't bother with it: I just put up nice clothes and that's it. What fits in my luggage will follow, what does not, will stay :O

So here is a stupid short entry: a sneak peak of my wardrobe for the week :)

Moo Gyul and Kidston

I had a weird dream yesterday, I cried a lot in my sleep. The dream was really weird though, and I felt sad even an hour or so after as I was lying in bed. It was a weird dream though. My boyfriend in the dream was Kang Moo Gyul from Mary stayed out all night the drama. And I don't know what was wrong with his brain a tumor or something, but he was to die. I remember that the dream was quite long, and that before we knew it was a brain tumor or something, he had insights in the dept of things, and said a serie of numbers and places that ended up being a coded way to see all the important things he had cherished during his life, and his adieux to the world. That was a weird dream. I mean, Moo Gyul? Where did that come from. I haven't seen this actor in so long too. ..

Today, the weather got really warm again for Fall weather, and it is ironic that it's warm now that it's officially Fall, and the end of the summer was so cold. It was some 20 degrees outside and through my kitchen window I had the pretty morning sight of my bright green bamboo with the red apple tree in background. It felt really happy at the time, and nostalgic somehow - most probably because if the fucked up dream I had before...

I recieved my Cath Kidston package!!! Yay! This is bad, I really spend a lot of money in ordering stuff online lately. Internet is evil, it is my last resort in a small town like here, where they have no brand bags and accessories except Guess, that I find tasteless and tacky...

Kyaaa~~ New Iphone case! I like it a lot :) I probably will not decorate this phone like I did the others....yet

New goodies!!!

I forgot that I did have a lot of other things to mention in my last blog. My bad, since I write them through my iPhone, I always end up not writing as much as I should or I forget details: there are list to the time one wants to use typing on a iPhone keyboard....

Anyways!

First of all Guri's mother packed two small purse for me in a package she sent her last week, and with work I ended up not taking proper pictures of them so here they are!!ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ

Cute rose purse with a chain shoulder strap
I really like the leather of this one, it is really a cute clutch

Yesterday I went to do some window shopping in the few stores that have clothes I like - me being quite picky - on the way to get plain black leggings for belly dancing class, and I ended up buying two sweet dress shirts. Both of them look awesome and I like the pink one a lot for it's simple but classic style. Also, it was 60% on sale or something so I paid it only $40 or so. The spotted one was more expensive, $180 or so, but I don't regret buying it.

I can't wait to try it on. It is quite transparent though so I'll
need to be careful what bra I wear under it. I want to wear it
with a high waisted black skirt <3
Silk shirt, old pink colored
Picture of me wearing it today, it's just a bit transparent

I finally took the week end to clean things up only bedroom and change the summer clothes for fall winter ones. Here is a peek of the dress part of it....

Finally, Guri gave me something awesome today: a lipstick! But it is not just a lipstick, it is a kind I've never seen before and it really smells sweet, sorts of the smell if a hand cream I had that was "kiwi carambola" scented. It's round!!! I love it!!

Interesting fact of the day:
Did you ever kill an insect and find that its insides are reallllly of a weird color? Did it happen to you to actually LOVe the color? I mean, find it actually pretty? I think I must be sick somewhat. But I killed a weird beetle today and its insides were aqua! I never could have imagined that color from he insides of an insect. Could it be that the actual aqua paint comes from beetle juice? ...to be continued ha ha

Fall has come again... let us freeze to death...

** Sorry I had to repost this, I deleted the previous one by mistake. My bad **

It went under zero yesterday night and it was rainy shitty and many other y ending words. The way back from work on foot and from school was really a pain! However, I recieved my Cath Kidston bags~~~! So the day is happy, warm and beautiful!
-> here comes the materialistic girl in me

Yes, I HAD to shoot the sheep as well. I had to.

I've already used this one for school and it's just perfect. Bags are best when they stay straight.
I cannot however deny that fall has come and I decided to take all my summer dresses away to wash them for the cold season to come. I'll get my fall and winter clothes out this weekend because, well. I certainly do not want to freeze to death with the lack of good heating - my parents being a little bit too "let's protect the Earth" to heat properly in the house - as I, afterall, still have my new bags to use (~_~;)

I realized something today. As I never had any trouble getting in McGill, and pretty much aced most of my classes - except English and a weird Aztec architecture class I took by mistake - I never really took it seriously, or for a real compliment when people were impressed I got in such a 'prestigious university". I never believed myself to be so intelligent or anything anyways - now I don't know whether that is underestimating myself or being realistic. However, today I realized that, maybe McGill is indeed more on the kick-ass university side, that asks much more from its students than other schools. I just had the presentation of my final paper for one of my classes today: a 7 pages paper in an interview of a teen between 12 and 17 years old. wow. At McGill I would have a paper like this every two weeks or so and the final of those classes would be minimum 10 pages long. And mind you, English papers are far more demanding than French ones, where you can afford to make sentences pretty by rephrasing things endlessly and repeating things on and on. English papers need to be clear, consise: straightforward. Otherwise it's crap. So even filling 5 pages in an English paper is at least the equivalent of content of a 8 page paper in French. Don't expect anything more than a C if you write an English paper the way you write one in French. That is the sad truth of life.
I never believed McGill was so demanding nevertheless. Now I know.

Can I feel a bit proud?

Finally, I'll end this post on what will probably be the last flower of my garden this year, as it is getting quite cold for new flowers to bloom. I remember planting these ones with my mother sometimes like 10 years ago. I think they are called Chinese Lanterns; pretty self-explanatory term if I may suggest. I love this plant. They only appear in Fall, as they are hidden by the other flowers during late summer. When all the others around wither however, the Chinese Lantern seems to emerge from the background and is very pretty to look at.
