New wallpaper!

I was looking for a facebook banner to put on the new facebook timeline, and what did I not fall upon? I found on a website, a super good quality picture of the wallpaper I put in my bedroom! It was too good to be true! So here I am, with a new nice looking wallpaper.

Teh eh <3

I made many attempts making nice looking nails lately, and failed miserably. Once, I made something that looked like some frog warts nails. The thing is, I realized lately that shining utensils at work - with a cloth wet with vinegar - pretty much fucked up my nails pretty bad, so I really wanted to do some nice looking nail art so it would somehow protect them. Having a few days off in a row last weekend, I took some time to do these, going step by step.

The first day I put a layer of protector polish,
The second day I put some flowers and transparent polish,
The third day I put another layer of transparent polish,
The fourth day I added the shiny tips plus transparent polish,
And finally, today I aded a last transparent polish layer.

Now I just hope they will hold for a few more days, so I don't have to crush my brain, trying to find a new pattern to do new nails...

Anyways, don't you think I should have gotten a pink or a white stone for my graduation ring instead of my birthstone? I feel like the dark purple of my birthstone sucks, I keep on having it everywhere, without matching my style in any way... so lame.

I had been looking for a case or any kind of box to put my nail art stuff this past few weeks without much success, so I was quite surprised to find a decent one for a cheap price right in Geant Tiger, where we often go my mother and I, so find random stuff when the other stores are closed. I originally wanted to put my nail polish into it, but most of the nail polish handle/brushes I have were actually too tall to fit in vertical position - any other making the result looking quite messy - so I put all my decodens in it instead. Still, as both my decoden and nail polish material were put messily in different cookie boxes - you know, the metal cookie boxes they sell at Christmas time, that have different shapes and filling, but somehow all taste the same? yes, those ones - I feel I made a good bought. Now I just need to find something a tad higher to put away my polish stuff... oh well.

Third day of Work at Bistro Jezz!

I've always liked to clean up. I like when a place sparkles of cleanliness and I like to relax with a tea when I'm done, and look around how perfect the cleaning is done. Let's call it my one little guilty pleasure. I could probably compare that to my parent's love for gardening: they like to make a garden the exact way they feel like having it, they do it with lots of care. As for me, I can't clean well when there are people around. It annoys me, and I mostly just do superficial clean-up when I have to clean with people around. Silly? Maybe.
Well fact is that in my apartment there was no problem: there were tons of times I could be alone on my own and do my things. Here however, at my parents', I used to clean when my parents are at work, but then, they always come back for lunch and in the evening, so the fact I cannot finish properly before they get back sorts of restrains me... sad sad sad. And now my mommy is on her vacation leave so she is home all the time.

But.

Now they went to Sherbrooke to see family! So I took the time to do the basement <3 My brother's den, if we may call it. Result: a clean floor and 142 beer bottle less hanging around the room. The difference is stunning. I actually only did a superficial cleaning there, because I don't really go but you know, it's still quite shiny <3.

How to bring 142 beer bottle on my own, without a car, without a liscence without anything????? I put everything in a wheelbarrow. It's probably an understatement that people made fun of me, but then again, I laughed too. It was quite funny to do. In any case, it was much better than the other options I had: do 16 times the way back and forth to bring them in bags or try to fill tons of bags and carry them on my back, which would probably have hurt a lot.

What I noticed today is that since I have a job I feel like doing more things. I think humans are made to have an occupation. I mean, today I did the gardening for my parents who left for the weekend, went to work, cleaned the place, watched a movie, talked on the phone, did a little computer, rode a 8km bicycle trail... Anyways, I quite like to work at Bistro Jezz  so I think this year will be sweet. I am going to register  for a certificate in my local University tomorrow morning with my sister, can't wait <3
